A good-natured private detective, Maiku Hama has an office on the second floor at the theater in Koganecho, Yokohama. He has a sister, Akane, and hears a rumor that Lily, the stripper mother who abandoned them when they were kids, is back in town. Meanwhile, in Koganecho, there is a dispute over the rights to the river, and a mysterious man known as the “White Man” is behind it. Who is this man, whom even the police cannot handle?
